The top photo is the front entrance but actually the side of the house. Below you can see the view of the entire house from the water. The entire facade (and character) of the house was altered by Mr. Koch, the house's fourth owner in 1984. The left-side gable was removed (top photo), and roughly half the porch was enclosed and later sheltered an indoor goldfish pond which is crossed by a small footbridge leading to the front door was added.
