Since the fourth owner made no effort to preserve the architectural authenticity of the house, it can be surmised that the brackets and the rake boards on the gables are absolutely original. Unfortunately, the windows on the second and third levels were replaced with Andersen windows. Originally, the second-floor windows had diamond-shaped leaded-glass transoms; the third-floor windows were entirely leaded glass with no transoms.
